This year's Howland 5 Mile Trail Race at Vosburg Neck State Park will be held 8/3/24.
Hey Runners! The annual Howland 5 and 8 Mile Trail Race is back on August 3rd. This year, there's a new challenge for experienced runners: an 8-mile course! The scenic 5-mile course is mostly shaded and perfect for runners of all abilities. The new 8-mile course features flat trails along the Susquehanna River before connecting to the original 5-mile loop. Be prepared for some hills - you'll be climbing 280 feet twice! Proceeds from the race benefit the Friends of Vosburg Neck State Park and The Seven Loaves Soup Kitchen. Bring a canned good or non-perishable food item to donate to the Soup Kitchen and we will give you a race sticker in return. Register now and don't miss out on this exciting and grassroots trail race! Plus, everyone who registers will receive a special product from a local farm. For more details and registration information, visit Howland 5 mile and 8 mile Trail Race.
